Do you ever wonder what life would be like if you had made different choices? If you had one chance to go back would you change anything? I wonder what my life would be like if I would not have gotten married and had kids at the young age of 20. I wonder if I would have finished college and pursued a high-paying job. Then I think about what kind of person I would be if I had not gone through everything that has brought me here today.

For whatever reason March has been for me the month of complaints: others complaining to me. I have complaints from friends, family members, and co-workers. I have heard complaints about hating jobs, how life is overwhelming, being overweight, kids that act up, boyfriends who cheat, business passion is gone because business is in trouble, and on and on. What does personal finance and weight loss have in common?
Personal finance and weight loss are one in the same in my opinion. Neither one works for me if I don’t buckle down and face the fact that I have to take action or nothing will change. I have come to believe you really can’t have one without the other either. The stress and worry brought on by not having your personal finances in order will hinder you from losing weight at least it has for me. You know that feeling when you sit down on your couch and everything is quiet for one moment and you look around and you realize that everything around you is good?
Then your child runs up to you with peanut butter all over their hands and gives you a big hug right after you just got dressed for work, or the phone rings, or the kids start fighting, and you are quickly brought back to a reality of a full life that is chock full of complications.
